PrayBeaumont Day September 25th at 3:00 PM
Sunday, September 25th is PrayBeaumont Day by proclamation of Mayor Becky Ames and the Beaumont City Council. Churches across the city will pray for Beaumont’s protection and well being in service on this Sunday.
Christians will also gather at Ford Park at 3:00 p.m. for the 8th Annual PrayBeaumont Day Prayer Drive and leave promptly at 3:30 p.m. Escorted by Beaumont Police Department and led by local pastors and city officials traveling in Sun Travel motor coaches the caravan will circle the city praying for Beaumont. Included in prayer are city government, police department, fire department, all schools, colleges, churches, entry points (against terrorism), the local economy, and protection in general. All church pastors and members are invited. The 40 mile trip takes between one and one half hours.
